Salem Flight Training is a flight school serving Oregon and is based out of McNary Field (SLE). We take pride in helping our students achieve their goals, whether they are looking to become an airline pilot or sport pilot. We will help you every step of the way. As you learn the basic flight maneuvers to flying by yourself and learning how to fly cross country. We have a flight physician who can provide your flight physical in our building. We also have an examiner who is excellent and has on office in our building.
Salem Flight Training also provides instruction at Independence airport.
Accelerated courses are available. We can arrange housing and rental cars or we can travel to your airport and provide the training. The most common course given is the IFR accelerated course, which is a 10 day course. The majority of pilots will use their own airplane. You will fly twice a day. Each lesson is 4 hours with about 2 hours of flight time each. We have provide accelerated private pilot, instrument, commercial and multi engine training.
