Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center

Located at the Indianapolis International Airport the state-of-the-art Aviation Technology Center features aviation programs from both Vincennes University and Purdue University. Through Vincennes University you can earn your Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (FAA A&P) along with either an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) in Aviation Maintenance Technology. The Flight Program prepares you for an exciting career in commercial aviation through a balance of flight and academic classes. Aviation Flight majors begin their flight training during the first week of class on their way to 50 hours of flight time in their first semester. Over the course of the 2 year program you will fly 250 hours of flight time and earn your Associates Degree. Flight training is conducted at Eagle Creek Airport in Indianapolis with Vincennes University Aircraft and Flight Instructors.
