Train to the highest standard at an International Airport - "If you can fly here you can fly anywhere" Oakland Flyers offers the most experienced and friendliest staff of Flight Instructorsin the Bay Area. With over 22,000 hours of flight experience and a diverse fleet of aircraft including: Cessna, Piper, Bellanca and a Frasca Flight Simulator we are the ideal flying club for you. We offer complete flight training including: Founded in 1989, Oakland Flyers is a flying club and a training facility. Members also enjoy the many fly-ins and member gatherings organized by the Club. A pilot supplies shop is also part of the operation, offering all books, charts and material necessary to training, as well as limited avionics. As a training facility, we offer professional flight training in accordance with Part 61 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. All of our flight instructors are independent high time professionals working with programs providing the best quality training. They schedule for the convenience of the student who they teach on a one-on-one basis, and are available 7 days a week. We are now enjoying a loyal customer base of about 400 members and an excellent reputation around the San Francisco Bay with the aviation authorities and other aviation businesses.
