The Philippines first and only Aerospace University continues to lead in producing future aviation professionals with degree programs in: Special Programs: Founded in 1992, the Indiana Aerospace University was conceived to answer the growing demand for qualified and well trained manpower in aeronautics and aviation related field, as a result of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and its opening to direct international flight. Moreover, the expansion of multinational aircraft maintenance and overhaul (MRO) stations in the country plays a vital role why IAU was established. Apart from being the center of international aviation, not only for the Visayas region, but also for Mindanao, Lapulapu City has now become one of the fastest growing centers for business and industry in the country and necessarily requires employment opportunities for technical personnel, which IAU can provide.
