For testing and approval, it was registered in the United States as N2692Y by Cessna. Shortly after production, the aircraft was registered as D-IAAQ and ferried to Germany, where it was operated by two different private owners. On 28 February 2002, it was transferred to the Netherlands and registered as PH-SWN. The aircraft remained on the Dutch register, changing ownership in 2014. Since 10 September 2021, the aircraft has been owned by its current German owner, who continues to operate the aircraft under the registration PH-SWN.
