Recent Case replacement included an exchange overhauled case by Divco, new gaskets, new seals, new crankshaft bearings (main, nose and rod bearings), new rod bolts. Valves were removed and seats lapped, New rings installed and barrels honed. All pushrods were replaced.
Note: The overhaul by Firewall Forward was noted on the log book entry as a 'Bottom End Overhaul' with 'cylinder assemblies repaired'. It is likely that they did not call it a full overhaul because the cylinders weren't listed as overhauled. There is approximately 1660 hours on the engine since a logged 'major overhaul'. THE AIRCRAFT IS PRICED WITH A 1660 HOUR ENGINE although there has been a bottom end overhaul and recent case replacement / internal inspection since.
